“Day 1 starts in Lands End for the obligatory photo then climbing up through Cornwall to Bodmin. A tough start to the journey but a relatively short 66 miles.”
I found lunch in Troon was a good place to break up the day – there’s a Co-op there for some sandwiches and snacks. I stayed at Berry Lane Cottage B&B just outside of Bodmin in Nanstallon. A fab little B&B – I was made to feel very much at home with cake upon arrival and lots of cuddles with the family border terrier Eric. I went down for breakfast at 8am, ate plenty until I was full and happy to start day 2. This was my best night’s sleep on the whole trip.
